Start of the Avalanche metal print by Deborah Smolinske. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Winter Storm Belle hit Chicagoland with a whallop, dropping a foot or more of snow in less than 24 hours. But before it snowed, it was rain and freezing rain, which meant that when it did turn to snow, surfaces were slick and sticky with ice, so the snow stuck in great clumps. This created interesting layers of ice and snow, like this one on the railing of a porch that looks like an avalanche frozen in mid fall.
